Hello and Greetings from the Gospel Light Baptist Chruch of Salisbury, NC. I would like to take this time to introduce myself as well as my family. My name is Anthony Wike and this is my wife Teresa. We have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. Our son Ethan and his wife Kimberly who have three children: Dallas, Holly and Garrett. Also, our daughter Carrie and her husband Seth with their son Silas.

I was saved at the age of thirteen during Vacation Bible School at our home church, the Friendship Baptist Church of Harmony, NC. From that time the Lord placed some wonderful people in my life. From Sunday School Teachers to Preachers that made a great mark on my life and our desire to serve the Lord. We surrendered to Serve the Lord in 1998 and began Bible College at Fundamental Bible College in Statesville in 1999. I graduated with a Bachelors of Theology in 2002 and the Lord placed us in our first pastorate that same year. The Lord has truly showed Himself to be faithful as we have watched through the years to see how the Lord has brought us from one place to another. From great heights to great lows, but I can say the Lord has been good to me! It always amazes me to look back and see where the Lord has brought us, and then to look up and think of where the Lord is taking us. Blessed be His Name!

We were called to be the Pastor of the Gospel Light Baptist Church in December 2005. It has been a great joy to see the Lord at work.  We have seen many come to know the Lord as their Savior. We have seen the Church continue to grow physically as well as Spiritually. It is such an honor to be the pastor of such a great group of people. I truly believe if you come and visit you to will see the hand of the Lord at work here at Gospel Light.

Thank you again for visiting our website, it truly is such a honor. I would personally like to extend a heart felt invitation to come and visit us and if the Lord leads we would love to call you part of the Gospel Light Family.

Thanks again and may the Lord Bless You;
Pastor Anthony Wike
